Mexico de 1000 Sabores Culinary Summit

Telemundo 39. The Consulate General of Mexico in Dallas, Southern Methodist University (SMU), and The Dallas Farmers Market are proud to unite forces in the celebration of Mexico De 1000 Sabores Gastronomic Festival on September 13th and 15th , 2019.

This celebration will consist of an academic event at SMU on September 13, followed by a one-day gastronomic festival culminating with the “Grito de Independencia” at The Dallas Farmers Market on September 15.

The gastronomic festival will include a series of events celebrating the Mexican culture through food, artistic presentations, and entertainment for the whole family. The Dallas Farmers Market is an ideal location that naturally attracts 6K + visitors, food enthusiast and restaurant entrepreneurs every weekend.

All these, combined with the presence of the diverse audiences that will attend “Mexico de 1000 Sabores,” will result in a heightened consumer base for two days of events and Sponsors activations.

Mexico de 1000 sabores, gives continuity to support projects for traditional cooks as carriers of the Gastronomic Heritage of the country which will be participating in this unprecedented event that aims to collaborate in the rescue, safeguarding and promotion of Traditional Mexican Cuisine as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity, as part of the action plan committed to UNESCO.
